We’re looking for a Junior Product Designer to create a world-class user interface. Our Design team is still in an early stage, which means you’ll help shape the design culture and process from the ground up and get to drive big and meaningful design problems.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, operations) to understand user needs and design innovative solutions for logistics products
  • Proficient in creating user interfaces that are visually appealing, user-friendly and meet accessibility standards
  • Develop detailed design specifications and prototypes for new products, as well as enhance existing product design
  • Conduct user research, testing and iterations on designs based on feedback
  • Create user-centered design concepts and conduct usability testing to ensure the product meets customer needs and expectations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in logistics and product design

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong portfolio showcasing the problem solving skill and high design caliber; you MUST provide a link to your portfolio to be considered for this role
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Experience with prototyping and testing
  • Ability to generate ideas and concepts quickly and effectively
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Prior design experience in the logistics industry is a big plus

The opportunity

You will be responsible for setting up and monitoring network infrastructure and resolving system issues. You need to have experience with IT performance management, network administration, and system security. You will be a part of an energetic team where the opportunity to learn and grow will only be limited by your internal motivation and drive to develop yourself as a professional.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Maintain and optimize local company networks and servers including firewalls, VPN, directory services, etc.
  • Be responsible for device and password management
  • Oversee data backup and system security operations (e.g. user authorization, firewalls)
  • Secure network by monitoring and controlling network access and upgrading security applications
  • Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software
  • Oversee identity and access management
  • Assess system performance and recommend improvements
  • Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines
  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via the help desk
  • Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems
  • Manage contracts with vendors (e.g. development platforms, telecommunication companies, password managers) and software licenses
  • Develop and implement IT policies and practices

What you will bring to Truck It In

  • 1-2 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management
  • Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis
  • Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing
  • Knowledge of data protection operations and techniques
  • Ability to multitask
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Capable of offering System and Network support
  • Skilled in Firewalls management

What you will bring to Truck It In

  • Professional software development experience of 2+ years
  • Ability to build Web-based Applications using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of ReactJS with Redux/Context
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript
  • Knowledge of PWA standards
  • Hands-on with RESTful APIs and JSON format
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of git (commit, push, pull)
  • Knowledge of databases and basic query-writing skills
  • Ability to be adaptable and pick up new technologies

We are looking for a Java Engineer across our offices in Pakistan. You will be joining as a Java Engineer, in a lively and productive workplace where we work together to help other businesses run better. If selected, you will be developing server side Java SpringBoot Applications in a team with other highly skilled engineers, leads and designers. Agile methodologies will be used along with prototyping and other standard software development techniques. In order to excel at this role, you must have:

  • Clear understanding of object oriented programming concepts
  • Hands on experience in Java 8 or above
  • Basic knowledge of git (commit, push, pull)
  • Hands on experience in Java back-end development and skills with Spring-boot framework
  • Expertise in API technologies such as REST web services
  • Experience writing unit tests with JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock
  • Knowledge of markup languages such as JSON and YAML
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL.
  • Real life experience with continuous delivery principles and related tools (Kubernetes / Docker)
  • Familiar with microservices design
  • Understanding of the design patterns, UML and application design
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate and work in a team

The following will be a plus: 

  • Experience in AWS or (similar Cloud components API Gateway/Workflow orchestration/Serverless applications)
  • Experience in stateless application development
  • Experience with DynamoDB
  • Working knowledge of quality and security scan technologies such as Sonar/Fortify

The opportunity

The Finance Team is looking for an accomplished Manager Compliance and Tax who thrives in a dynamic and high growth organization. The Finance team plays an important role of providing strategic, operational and financial analysis to support the company’s growth strategy. This role will report to the VP of Finance and will be in a unique position to work cross-functionally with other leadership and impact performance across multiple areas of the business.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws such as filing of income tax returns/sales tax returns/provincial returns as well as withholding statements and quarterly advance tax submissions
  • Review ongoing tax notices (if any), monitoring and liaison with tax consultant for its timely response
  • Liaison with tax and legal consultants to build compliance policies around core business operations processes
  • Work closely with the functions to develop formal system, frameworks and policies wherever required
  • Compile and maintain risk control frameworks
  • Coordinate between various functions in information gathering and coordination for internal controls implementations

What you will bring to Truck It In

  • CA/ACCA or equivalent relevant qualification
  • 3 or more years relevant experience in compliance and tax within the financial services or consulting industry
  • Experience with internal control frameworks and strong knowledge about risk assessments
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
